So, I went with some classmates to go see one of the LA showings of the product design documenary, “Objectified”; made by the same person that did “Helvetica”. Refer to this post for the trailer and background information. We got there unnecessarily early and walked a block or two to this great cafe, Qusqo. (More info) They had great happy hour deals and the vibe was incredible. The food was also AMAZING, and the desert… ambrosial to say the least; three types of sherbet molded into an egg shape and shelled in white chocolate whilst drizzled with milk chocolate. Can you say yum? Here are a few pictures from eating and waiting for the film to begin. Oh, and the film was great too; along with being able to question the Director afterwards.

How did ya score tickets to that film? Shit’s been sold out everywhere.
Comment by huphtur August 16, 2009 @ 6:31 amThis was the second showing in LA, and I got my ticket off of the website and picked it up at will call. There were also plenty of tickets still for sale when I got there and there is supposed to be a third showing in LA soonish. The DVD comes out on Sept. 18 though (my bday).
